76% of UK respondents would be interested in automated Bitcoin investment, according to Mode research
Mode Global Holdings PLC (LSE:MODE, OTCQB:MODGF) said employees of ecommerce platform Heroes will be able to take some of their monthly salaries in Bitcoin as part of a new partnership.
Any employee who takes part of their salary in the crypto currency will have payment made into a Mode wallet, a Financial Conduct Authority-registered Bitcoin wallet.
The London listed fintech said interested employees of Heroes will have the option to steadily invest into Bitcoin each month.
The agreement is part of the expanding #PayMeInBitcoin movement, and follows the partnership between Mode and PayEscape, a payroll supplier, in November 2021, a statement said.
Heroes has recently undergone a series of successful funding rounds and is looking to use Mode’s platform to give its employees additional benefits.
“We are delighted to be working with the Heroes team to bring their employees an innovative and secure way of investing in Bitcoin for the longer term through our payroll product,” said Rita Liu, chief commercial officer of Mode.
“Being able to receive salaries partly in Bitcoin has been very well received and adds another string to the bow of benefits available to our employees,” added Heroes chief financial officer Giancarlo Bruni.
