Thursday’s ETF with Unusual Volume: RYF


The Invesco S&P 500— Equal Weight Financials ETF is seeing unusually high volume in afternoon trading Thursday, with over 332,000 shares traded versus three month average volume of about 54,000. Shares of RYF were up about 1.5% on the day.

Components of that ETF with the highest volume on Thursday were Bank of America, trading up about 3.7% with over 51.2 million shares changing hands so far this session, and Wells Fargo, down about 1.4% on volume of over 33.5 million shares. Everest RE Group is the component faring the best Thursday, higher by about 4.6% on the day, while U.S. Bancorp is lagging other components of the Invesco S&P 500— Equal Weight Financials ETF, trading lower by about 2.7%.
