Artwork Fx is a year-long collection on Huntsville Doppler that includes Huntsville-area visible artists.
Summary #5 is a 5″ x 2.5″ x 2.5″ sculpture in alabaster (stone) on metal base.
This small orange summary sculpture is the most recent in a collection of abstracts by Elise Muller impressed by rubber bands and the attention-grabbing shapes they unfurl into.
Concerning the artist:
Elise Muller has been sculpting stone since 2001. She lives and works at Stone Tree Studio close to Dorset. In 2018 Elise gained the Canadian Sculpture Competitors at Kingsbrae Backyard for her granite sculpture “Attunement”. She carves a wide range of stone in a wide range of sizes together with necklaces, lettering, backyard artwork, and public artwork items.
