Bank of Japan Deputy Governor Masayoshi Amamiya with his optimistic forecast for the price of energy and commodities. If he is right headline inflation in Japan will head back dwon again. Core inflation (excluding fresh food and energy) has ticked up a bit but the BOJ doesn’t expect it’ll get to target (which is 2%) in a sustained fashion.
