Four European gas buyers said to have already paid for supplies in rubles

Well, I guess it goes to show how effective Russia’s supposed ‘blackmail’ is working out to be. The headline is via Bloomberg, adding that the next wave of Europe gas payments in rubles will be due after 15 May.

The source quoted also says that ten European gas companies have opened accounts at Gazprombank in order to meet Russia’s demand to pay in rubles. As per the headline, four have already done so.
