The major stock indices are expected to open lower but off their lowest premarket levels. The futures implying:
- Dow industrial average -208 points
- S&P index -27.86 points
- NASDAQ index -107.92 points
On Friday the Dow fell -1008.3 points, the S&P fell -141.45 points on the NASDAQ index fell -497.56 points.
