ISLAMABAD, Oct. 5 (Xinhua) — Pakistan’s central bank, the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP), said on Thursday its foreign exchange reserves had decreased by 21 million U.S. dollars.
During the week ending on Sept. 28, the total foreign exchange reserves of the bank fell to around 7.6 billion dollars, the SBP said in a statement.
Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks came at 5.4 billion dollars, it said.
Total liquid foreign reserves held by the South Asian country stood at about 13 billion dollars, it said. ■
