US equity futures point to a modestly-negative start

S&P 500 futures are down 9 points, or -0.2%.

Futures were about 30 points lower earlier on BOJ angst but have bounced back. I’m skeptical of the rebound, given that Treasury yields are 12 bps higher at the long end.
