Trip.com (TCOM) Q2 Earnings and Revenues Top Estimates


Trip.com (TCOM) came out with quarterly earnings of $0.18 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.07 per share. This compares to loss of $0.27 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 157.14%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this travel services company would post a loss of $0.34 per share when it actually produced a loss of $0.05, delivering a surprise of 85.29%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates four times.

Trip.com, which belongs to the Zacks Leisure and Recreation Services industry, posted revenues of $912 million for the quarter ended June 2021, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 5.50%. This compares to year-ago revenues of $448 million. The company has topped consensus revenue estimates four times over the last four quarters.
