Boeing on Tuesday reported extra cancellations of its beleaguered 737 Max jets, simply as regulators wrap up their evaluation of the planes following two deadly crashes.

The plane producer is dealing with twin crises of the 737 Max grounding, now in its 20th month, and the coronavirus pandemic, which as devastated air journey and the marketplace for new plane.

Boeing prospects canceled 12 orders for the 737 Max in October and the corporate posted no new ones. Together with plane Boeing faraway from its official backlog, its excellent orders shrunk to 4,275 from 4,325 final month.

The Federal Aviation Administration is wrapping up its analysis of modifications Boeing made to the planes after two 737 Max crashes killed 346 individuals and prompted a worldwide grounding of the jetliners in March 2019.
