A brand new anti-meth marketing campaign in South Dakota has prompted a little bit of head-scratching. However the state’s governor stated this huge response is precisely what the push was aiming for.

The marketing campaign, announced Monday by South Dakota Gov. Kristi Noem and first reported by the Sioux Falls daily newspaper the Argus Leader, consists of posters of what purport to be folks from South Dakota with the message “Meth. We’re on it.” The push may even embody TV commercials, radio advertisements, billboards, social media and a web site (known as “Onmeth.com”) with assets.
