DETROIT — A United Auto Employees member was struck and killed whereas picketing Tuesday morning outdoors of a General Motors meeting plant in Tennessee, in response to native legislation enforcement.
Columbia Police Division Lt. Jeremy Haywood confirmed the accident occurred at about 6:30 a.m. on a public highway by the doorway of an overpass that results in GM’s Spring Hill Assembly plant.
The automobile that struck the employee just isn’t believed to have been any sort of labor automobile with the corporate, in response to Haywood, whose division responded to the accident.
