Boris Johnson told reporters again to “wait and see” the outcome of Sue Gray’s inquiry into Downing Street parties.
The prime minister said he sticks absolutely to what he had “said in the past” about gatherings held during lockdown.
On a visit to the freeport in Tilbury, Essex, the PM would not be drawn on questioning by reporters saying he was there to talk about “freeports”.
