Members of the European Parliament have overwhelmingly backed the phrases of the UK’s exit from the EU, amid excessive feelings in the course of the UK MEPs’ last debate in Brussels.
The Brexit Get together’s Nigel Farage and his colleagues had been advised off for waving Union Jack flags, whereas the Inexperienced Get together’s Molly Scott Cato wept as she spoke about returning to the chamber at some point.
After the vote, MEPs marked the UK’s exit by singing Auld Lang Syne.
