There’s a “very slender” path for UK and EU to achieve a post-Brexit commerce deal, the president of the European Fee has mentioned.
Ursula von der Leyen mentioned deadlines have been missed “again and again” and the 2 sides had been now “so shut and but being so distant from one another”.
The UK left the EU on 31 January and is because of exit its transition interval on 31 December, however Mrs von der Leyen couldn’t say whether or not the 2 sides would attain a deal within the subsequent fortnight.
