Asking an pressing query within the Home of Commons, Mr Clark stated companies are “going through a disaster”, and the UK wanted a response that was “speedy” and “efficient”.

This afternoon, the Chancellor Rishi Sunak hosted a roundtable assembly with representatives from enterprise teams and commerce unions.

Mr Sunak stated, “We’re working around the clock to ship additional assist to people and households whose jobs and incomes will likely be affected by COVID-19 – and to take action urgently.”
