Prof Neil Ferguson has stop his position advising the federal government on coronavirus after admitting “undermining” the messages on social distancing guidelines.

Prof Ferguson, whose recommendation led to the UK’s present lockdown, mentioned he had made an “error of judgment”.

It comes after the Each day Telegraph reported that he had damaged social distancing guidelines.

“I deeply remorse any undermining of the clear messages across the continued want for social distancing,” he mentioned.
