A veteran Labour MP who contracted coronavirus has been moved out of intensive care however stays in hospital.

In an announcement printed on his behalf, Rochdale MP Tony Lloyd, 70, mentioned he was “on the mend”.

“It actually is a tricky situation and it has little question left me actually gasping for air,” Mr Lloyd mentioned within the assertion which was posted on Twitter.

The MP was admitted to Manchester Royal Infirmary after falling ailing with the virus.
