Grant Shapps has defended the price of NHS Take a look at and Hint following criticism from a cross-party group of MPs who stated its impression is unclear.
The Public Accounts Committee stated spending on the mission was “unimaginable”, and warned the taxpayer couldn’t be handled like an “ATM machine”, after the federal government put aside £37bn for it over two years.
However, chatting with BBC Breakfast, the transport secretary stated: “Sure, it has been very costly… however I feel the concept that we’d one way or the other be higher off with out it’s loopy.”
