Dominic Cummings’ journey to Durham on the peak of lockdown was the “tipping level” for the federal government shedding public belief over Covid, Sir Keir Starmer has mentioned.

The Labour chief requested the prime minister how he may justify the £40,000 pay rise for his former aide whereas public sector staff obtain a pay freeze.

Mr Johnson replied it was “completely unfaithful” that lockdown restrictions weren’t working and accused Sir Keir solely wanting nationwide lockdowns.
