An impartial panel has accused the Met Police of “institutional corruption” for concealing or denying failings over the unsolved homicide of personal investigator Daniel Morgan.

No-one has been delivered to justice over the father-of-two’s dying in 1987, with the Metropolitan Police admitting corruption had hampered the unique homicide investigation.

Talking within the Home of Commons, shadow house secretary Nick Thomas-Symonds mentioned “the findings within the report are damning.”
