The UK international secretary says the federal government is “pissed off” over options the UK ought to align with EU guidelines on commerce.
Chatting with the BBC’s Andrew Marr, Dominic Raab mentioned alignment was “not even on the negotiating desk” and claimed a Canada-style deal was a part of the Withdrawal Settlement, agreed in October 2019.
It comes forward of a speech by PM Boris Johnson on the UK’s strategy to commerce negotiations with the EU.
