Diane Abbott tells the BBC she will “definitely” stand in the upcoming general election in Hackney North and Stoke Newington.
When asked how she feels she had been treated by Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer in recent months, Abbott did not respond.
On Sunday, Ms Abbott said she intended to stand for Labour at the general election, after a row over whether the party would pick her as a candidate.
