Priti Patel was sitting on the frontbench throughout PMQs
Boris Johnson has advised MPs he’s “sticking by” House Secretary Priti Patel, following additional allegations of bullying in opposition to her.
Claims she mistreated employees would “in fact” be investigated, he stated at Prime Minister’s Questions.
However he hailed Ms Patel as an “excellent” house secretary who was “delivering change”.
The Cupboard Workplace is investigating a number of allegations about Ms Patel’s behaviour, which she denies.

Answering a query from Labour MP Matthew Pennycook, Mr Johnson stated: “The house secretary is doing an excellent job delivering change, placing police out on the road, chopping crime, and delivering a brand new immigration system and I am sticking by her.”

Labour chief Jeremy Corbyn accused the “part-time” prime minister of getting “no disgrace” and repeated his name for an impartial inquiry into Ms Patel’s conduct.
He demanded to know if Mr Johnson was conscious of the complaints about her behaviour when he appointed her house secretary.
The PM hit again by branding Mr Corbyn a “full-time Marxist who has didn’t stamp out bullying in his personal occasion”.
