International Secretary Dominic Raab has prolonged the UK’s arms embargo – which has been in place with China since 1989 – to Hong Kong, to cease “doubtlessly deadly weapons” entering into China.

Britain has additionally suspended extraditions to Hong Kong “instantly and indefinitely”

Mr Raab stated there was “appreciable uncertainty” over China’s nationwide safety legal guidelines in Hong Kong, and warned Beijing: “The UK is watching and the entire world is watching.”
