Chancellor Rishi Sunak has mentioned that it’ll take “the work of a few years, many years and governments” to pay again the cash spent on the supporting the economic system throughout the pandemic.
Talking on BBC Breakfast, he was pushed on whether or not his Funds measures have been sufficient to deal with the £407bn invoice.
