Prime Minister Boris Johnson has warned Russia it risked “a new Chechnya” if it invaded Ukraine, that would cause bloodshed and trigger possible economic sanctions.
“Invading Ukraine, from a Russian perspective, is going to be a painful, violent and bloody business,” he said.
