Mr O’Dowd stated such a gathering would “present unity of function throughout the board, throughout the political spectrum, to make sure that those that are orchestrating this violence, those that are placing petrol bombs into the arms of 12-year-olds, get a really, very clear message that it is not acceptable, that they are against, and that the police should take the motion which is critical to cease them”.
