Labour chief Keir Starmer has criticised the federal government’s dealing with of PPE contracts throughout the pandemic.
He raised the case of a Spanish businessman who was paid £21m to behave as a ‘go-between’ for the NHS and PPE suppliers.
Prime Minister Boris Johnson stated that throughout the early phases of the pandemic, Sir Keir had urged that PPE must be equipped as rapidly as doable.
