A Labour MP says some established social media websites are “failing to behave” over extremist and violent uploads.
Stephen Doughty instructed the Commons he had reported YouTube scenes with drug sellers, younger individuals “dripping in blood” and right-wing organisations posting about minorities.
He stated: “These firms do not give a rattling about what the general public assume, what mother and father assume” and that the federal government should step in with rules.
