Former European Council president Donald Tusk has mentioned Brussels feels “empathy” in the direction of an impartial Scotland becoming a member of the European Union.
When requested by the BBC’s Andrew Marr if this may be appeared upon favourably, Mr Tusk mentioned, “emotionally I’ve little doubt that everybody might be enthusiastic”.
First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has mentioned an impartial Scotland would search full EU membership.
