The chief secretary to the Treasury has said he is “not going to be delighted to see growth of 0.2%” for April to June.

But John Glen said the figure was in line with other major economies, who were also dealing with the aftermath of Covid, Russia’s actions in Ukraine, and the challenges “we face with supply chains”.
