Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said “we will always stand-up for freedom” and “Ukrainian sovereignty in the face of aggression”.
He was speaking at a news conference in the Ukranian capital city Kyiv, where he had been meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
The two leaders discussed the heightened tensions on the Ukraine border with Russia.
