PARIS, Dec 14 (Reuters) – Airbus will maintain manufacturing of A320-family jets at 40 a month going into 2021, chief govt Guillaume Faury stated on Monday.
Talking on the Convention of Montreal by video, he didn’t handle the timing or scale of any future manufacturing will increase, after Airbus lately informed suppliers to arrange for a rise to 47 a month from July 2021.
“We have now tailored to the well-known rate-40 on our single-aisle, on the A320 household. And it has confirmed to be not too far-off from the correct degree of manufacturing. We’re nonetheless at price 40 and we anticipate we’ll stay at that price starting of 2021,” Faury stated.
