March 19 (Reuters) – Alcoa Corp AA.N stated on Friday it had signed new agreements with Australia’s AGL Vitality AGL.AX, Origin Vitality ORG.AX and Alinta Vitality to produce electrical energy to its Portland aluminium smelter within the Australian state of Victoria.
The five-year agreements will begin on Aug. 1, after its current settlement with AGL expires, Alcoa stated.
