HAMBURG/PARIS, April 28 (Reuters)Algeria’s state grains company OAIC has bought optional-origin milling wheat in a world tender which closed on Wednesday, European merchants stated.

Preliminary estimates of buy value have been round $316.50 a tonne c&f, 4 merchants stated. Extra detailed assessments of costs are anticipated later.

Preliminary assessments have been of a comparatively small tonnage bought due to excessive costs in worldwide markets.

Unconfirmed estimates of preliminary volumes purchased have been round 200,000 tonnes. Extra particulars are anticipated later.
