Bloomberg says he would de-escalate commerce tensions with China

MEMPHIS, Feb 28 (Reuters)Democratic presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg on Friday pledged to de-escalate U.S.-China commerce tensions, make it simpler for farmers to rent international laborers and improve federal agricultural analysis.

The previous New York mayor’s farm coverage program, first reported by Reuters, comes forward of the March three nomination contests in 14 states, together with farm-heavy states like Minnesota and Oklahoma.

Bloomberg, a billionaire who’s self-financing his marketing campaign, is a number one candidate within the Democratic nomination contest to tackle Republican President Donald Trump within the November election.

He has been one in every of Trump’s harshest critics on the marketing campaign path – generally buying and selling private insults with the president – and on Friday he slammed the administration over its commerce insurance policies which have led buying and selling companions, notably China, to place heavy tariffs on U.S. farm exports.
