SEATTLE, Feb 24 (Reuters) – Boeing Co BA.N is near a deal to produce extra 787 Dreamliners to Japan’s ANA Holdings Inc 9202.T in what can be the U.S. planemaker’s first industrial order announcement to this point this 12 months, trade sources stated.
The deal for the Basic Electrical-powered plane is a lift for the U.S. planemaker after it posted no January orders for the primary time in many years whereas wrestling with the grounding of its smaller 737 MAX.
