WASHINGTON, March 8 (Reuters) – Boeing Co’s BA.N proposal to go away wiring bundles in place on the grounded 737 MAX has not gained the backing of U.S. aviation regulators, an individual briefed on the matter advised Reuters.
Final month, Boeing advised the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) it doesn’t consider it must separate or transfer wiring bundles on its grounded 737 MAX jetliner that regulators have warned might brief circuit with catastrophic penalties.
The supply stated the FAA advised Boeing on Friday that it didn’t agree with the planemaker’s argument that the planes’ wiring bundles meet security requirements and now it’s as much as Boeing to resolve easy methods to proceed.
