BEIJING, April 1 (Reuters) – China detected a brand new case of African swine fever in piglets transported to Sichuan from exterior the province, the agriculture ministry stated on Wednesday.
The outbreak was present in a truck transporting 83 piglets to Leshan metropolis, with one piglet useless, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs stated in an announcement on its web site.
China reported a number of new instances of the lethal African swine fever illness in March.
