China to grant tariff exemptions on further U.S. items

BEIJING, Feb 18 (Reuters)China stated on Tuesday it will settle for purposes for brand new tariff exemptions for 696 merchandise imported from the US together with key agricultural and vitality merchandise equivalent to pork, beef, soybeans, liquefied pure fuel and crude oil.

The exemptions, the third and essentially the most substantial set to be granted so far by China for the reason that begin of the commerce dispute with the US, come a month after the signing of a Section 1 commerce deal between Washington and Beijing. China has dedicated to boosting its purchases of products and providers from the US by $200 billion over two years.
