BEIJING, Aug 20 (Reuters)China’s soybean imports from high provider Brazil fell in July from the earlier 12 months, customs information confirmed on Friday, as poor crush margins weighed on demand.

China, the world’s high purchaser of soybeans, introduced in 7.88 million tonnes of the oilseed from Brazil in July, down 3.7% from 8.18 million tonnes a 12 months earlier, based on information from the Normal Administration of Customs.

Chinese language crushers stepped up purchases of soybeans from the South American nation within the earlier months of the 12 months, to revenue from good margins, pushed by a quick recovering pig herd.
