Delta Air orders 30 A321neo jets from Airbus


Aug 24 (Reuters)Delta Air Strains DAL.N stated on Tuesday it had added 30 A321neo narrowbody plane to its order e-book with Airbus AIR.PA, because the U.S. provider upgrades its fleet and prepares for a rebound in journey.

The newly ordered jets deliver its excellent orders to a complete of 155 A321neos, that are powered by Pratt & Whitney PW1100G turbofan engines.

“Including these plane strengthens Delta’s dedication to changing older fleets with extra sustainable, fuel-efficient jets,” stated Mahendra Nair, senior vp of fleet and techops provide chain at Delta.

The airline expects to take supply of its first A321neo within the first half of 2022.
