Adds buy breakdown and home tender end result
CAIRO, June 22 (Reuters) – Egypt’s state grains purchaser, the Basic Authority for Provide Commodities (GASC,) stated on Tuesday it had purchased 73,500 tonnes of vegetable oils in a world tender for arrival Sept. 5-30.
GASC stated the acquisition comprised 63,000 tonnes of soyoil and 10,500 tonnes of sunflower oil.
Merchants gave the next breakdown of the acquisition in {dollars} per tonne, with 5% tolerance:
ADM: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $1,184.00 for cost at sight
Posco: 30,000 tonnes of soyoil at $1,184.00 for cost at sight
ADM: 10,000 tonnes of sunflower oil at $1,133.00 for cost at sight
GASC had additionally been looking for vegetable oils in a home tender for a similar arrival interval. Merchants gave the next breakdown of that buy:
Safa: 5,000 tonnes of soyoil at 18,553 Egyptian kilos ($1,179.46)
