PARIS, Nov 8 (Reuters) – GECAS, the plane leasing subsidiary of Basic Electrical GE.N, has ordered 25 Airbus AIR.PA plane together with a uncommon buy of jets powered by GE’s rival engine maker Rolls-Royce, two folks accustomed to the matter stated.
The order consists of 12 Airbus A330neo jets, for which Rolls-Royce RR.L is the only real engine provider, and 13 A321XLR long-distance narrow-body jets. It was included in a brand new Airbus order tally however the title of the client was not instantly disclosed.
