MUMBAI, Aug 24 (Reuters) – India has relaxed import guidelines to permit shipments of 1.2 million tonnes of genetically modified (GMD) soymeal, the federal government mentioned on Tuesday, a transfer that would assist the poultry business after animal feed costs tripled in a yr.
The shipments have to be imported earlier than Oct. 31, the federal government mentioned in an announcement.
