HANOI, June 1 (Reuters) – Copper costs rose on Tuesday as a weaker greenback made greenback-priced metals cheaper and extra interesting to holders of different currencies.
Three-month copper on the London Metallic Change CMCU3 rose 0.7% to $10,328 a tonne by 0319 GMT, whereas the most-traded July copper contract on the Shanghai Futures Change SCFcv1 elevated 0.6% to 74,160 yuan ($11,642.44) a tonne.
The greenback languished close to multi-month lows versus main friends as merchants contemplated the prospects for early coverage normalization by the Federal Reserve forward of a key jobs report on the finish of the week.
