MEXICO CITY, Nov 1 (Reuters)Mexican airline Interjet cancelled all of its 19 flights scheduled for Sunday as a neighborhood newspaper reported that it had failed to satisfy funds on jet gasoline.

Interjetintroduced the cancellations on its Twitter account and mentioned the flights can be rescheduled beginning Nov. 3. It later issued an announcement noting that the coronavirus pandemic had hit the trade arduous and had harm the corporate’s money circulate.

“Moreover, among the firm’s plane have gone into upkeep, which has led to a restructuring of flight itineraries from this date,” Interjet mentioned.

Earlier than the assertion, newspaper Reforma quoted Mexican airport administration authority ASA as saying Interjet had not made advance funds on jet gasoline for the second time since late September, and thus didn’t obtain the gasoline for its planes.
