BRUSSELS, March 19 (Reuters) – Netflix NFLX.O mentioned on Thursday it will cut back its bit charges throughout all its streams in Europe, in impact slicing site visitors on its European networks by 25% to protect the graceful functioning of the web through the coronavirus disaster.
The transfer got here after talks between European Union trade chief Thierry Breton and Netflix CEO Reed Hastings. Breton had a day earlier urged the video streaming service to downgrade the standard of its video to keep away from web gridlock.
