Qatar Airways says regulator grounds 13 of its Airbus A350s over floor subject


DUBAI, Aug 5 (Reuters)Qatar Airways stated on Thursday it has grounded 13 of its Airbus AIR.PA A350 jets on the instruction of Qatar’s aviation regulator as a result of floor beneath the paint deteriorating quicker than anticipated.

The state-owned service has fallen out with the European planemaker over the dispute, having stated earlier this 12 months it could not take A350 deliveries till the issue was mounted.

“With this newest growth, we sincerely anticipate that Airbus treats this matter with the right consideration that it requires,” Qatar Airways Chief Govt Akbar Al Baker stated in an announcement.
